Keum-Boo Hexagon with Sugilite
This pendant was made using 24k gold foil, sterling silver, recycled 18k gold and a Sugilite gemstone.
Keum-Boo is an ancient Korean metalsmithing technique that entails fusing 24k gold foil onto sterling silver or other metals. The geometric shapes in this piece contrast elegantly with the organic edges of the 24k Gold foil.
The rectangular Sugilite has been attached to the hexagon with a hinge that allows the gemstone to pivot from side to side when you wear it.
This piece does not currently come with a chain, however if you would like to purchase the snake chain pictured in some of the photos, that can be arranged.
The pendant is 3" long and 1.5" wide.
